Job summary

Opensity Solutions is seeking a reliable Porter to uphold cleanliness, safety, and professional presentation across our client facilities in New York. You will perform light maintenance, assist with furniture setup, manage supplies, and provide courteous service to employees and visitors.

A high school diploma and 3+ years in porter or facilities roles are required; ability to lift 40 lbs and MS Office proficiency are also needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of porter or facilities maintenance experience.
• Technical Skills: Light maintenance, inventory management, and basic MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards across office spaces and client facilities.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance or safety issues and address them promptly.
• Perform general facility maintenance and light repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting).
• Repair and maintain office furniture, doors, fixtures, and related components.
• Patch and paint walls and ceilings to uphold a professional environment.
• Assist with furniture assembly and workspace setups.
• Collaborate with teams to support facility improvement initiatives and safety compliance.
• Provide professional customer service to employees, clients, and visitors.
