The Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, safety, and overall appearance of Opensity Solutions client facilities. This role supports daily facility operations by performing maintenance tasks, ensuring workplace readiness, managing supplies, and delivering exceptional customer service to employees, clients, and visitors. The Porter plays a key role in creating a clean, safe, and professional environment that reflects the service standards and values of Opensity Solutions. The position reports to the Lead Porter or Client Relations Manager and is classified as non-exempt.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or vocational training preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in porter services, hospitality support, facilities maintenance, corporate services, or related operational roles.
Technical Skills: Experience performing light maintenance, facility support, inventory management, and workplace setup activities. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Emotional intelligence is a plus!
Scope of Responsibilities. Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
The Compensation range for this role is 24.00 to 26.50 USD per hour and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
