Akima Mission Optimization (AMO) seeks a Facilities Management Specialist to provide on-site support at NSWC Dahlgren, serving as SME in facilities planning, space management, data systems, and SRM program support.

The role requires DoD Interim-Secret clearance, 4 years of SME experience, and strong MS Office and analytical skills. You will coordinate Infrastructure Board activities, manage FDMS/FSRM databases, and support project selection and funding alignment with NAVFAC and NSWC leadership.

Competenze

• Active DoD-issued Interim-Secret clearance required.
• 4 years of experience as SME in facilities analytics, management studies, or space planning.
• Ability to prepare written reports, technical docs, and oral presentations on facilities and space management.
• Ability to advise on facilities topics and represent a large RDT&E organization.
• Working knowledge of Navy Working Capital Fund (WCF) principles.
• Expert knowledge of Navy facilities and space management regulations, policies, practices, and procedures.
• Broad knowledge of Navy public works services to analyze services, costs, constraints, and alternatives.
• Ability to develop facilities requirements and cost analyses within an RDT&E environment.
• Familiarity with FDMS, FSRM, MAXIMO, iNFADS tools.
• Ability to conduct indoor and outdoor facility tours in various weather conditions.
• Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Serve as SME in facilities planning and space management strategies.
• Provide expertise in FDMS, FSRM, iNFADS, and NAVFAC MAXIMO systems.
• Administer FDMS and FSRM databases; ensure data integrity.
• Support SRM program tracking, funding coordination, and issue resolution.
• Plan and facilitate Infrastructure Board meetings; prepare materials and record decisions.
• Coordinate FTG activities including meetings, inspections, and observations.
• Act as NSWCDD SME for space management data and stakeholder support.
• Lead NSWCDD SRM project selection and ranking annually.
• Track progress of SRM projects and coordinate resolutions with NAVFAC/NAVSEA/NSASP.
• Represent NSWCDD on facilities matters with sponsors and leadership.
