Job summary

Adams County Colorado is seeking a proven leader to join the Facilities & Fleet Management team as the Manager of Planning, Design and Construction. You will oversee all phases of capital projects from planning through close-out, guiding a team of project management professionals to deliver high-impact facilities with a focus on sustainability and performance.

You will collaborate with county departments and elected offices to align projects with the county’s vision, prepare long-range capital

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, planning, project management, or related field.
Five+ years of construction project management as owner’s representative on commercial facilities.
Two+ years of supervisory/managerial leadership experience.
Colorado Driver’s License required.
Certification in Construction/Project/Program Management or LEED is a plus.
Background check required.

Responsibilities

Lead the PDC division as program manager for the County’s facility capital improvement program.
Engage stakeholders county-wide to identify facility needs and develop long-range capital plans.
Collaborate with departments to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
Coordinate project management processes and provide guidance to the team.
Present to the Board of County Commissioners and executive leadership.
Promote sustainability and drive long-term operational performance.
