Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking an experienced Facilities Project Manager to oversee planning, budgeting, and coordination of space, equipment, and building projects across sites. You will translate organizational needs into clear project requirements, manage major renovations, and steer initiatives from concept through implementation.

You will negotiate contracts, track milestones and budgets, lead cross-functional teams, and act as the main point of contact for facilities, equipment

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities planning and utilization.
• Experience with equipment and machinery maintenance.
• Experience with facilities modification and building project management.
• Ability to define project requirements.
• Ability to negotiate contracts and changes.
• Ability to establish operating budgets.
• Ability to identify financial terms and conditions of contracts.
• Ability to lead cost, schedule and technical performance reviews.
• Ability to monitor master plans, budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Plan utilization of space and facilities according to organizational efficiency requirements and available facilities and funds
• Plan, direct and manage equipment and machinery maintenance, facilities modification and building projects from design concepts through design and implementation
• Define project requirements
• Negotiate contracts and contract changes
• Establish operating budgets
• Identify financial terms and conditions of contracts
• Act as primary contact for facilities, equipment and machinery maintenance, and project activities
• Lead project reviews of cost, schedule and technical performance
• Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans, budgets and schedules
• Identify problems and develop solutions, including resource allocation or project scope changes
• Coordinate the work of employees assigned to the project when applicable
