Job summary

Jobtailor in Kentucky is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the facility capital plan for the Midwest region. You will drive project development, oversee execution, and collaborate with Real Estate and Business Units to secure senior leadership approvals.

Manage infrastructure replacement, engage external partners, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects on scope, time, and budget.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 5 years related work experience; or High School/GED with 9 years related work experience.
Ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without immigration sponsorship.
Preferred: Bachelor's in PM, Real Estate, Construction Management, or Architecture.
Preferred: 10 years related work experience.
Certifications: PMP, Professional Engineer, CAPM, Utility Certifications, CMII, POPM.
Proficient in project management, decision making, critical thinking, and problem solving.
Experience in risk management and project leadership within a Utility Business Unit.
Construction management knowledge; scheduling and cost controls expertise.
Strong budgeting and forecasting capabilities; matrixed team leadership and stakeholder relations.
Willingness for out-of-town travel within Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage the facility capital plan for the Midwest region.
Lead project development and execution oversight.
Partner with Real Estate teams and Business Units for options and approvals.
Oversee capital infrastructure replacement and execution.
Engage external partners and vendors to execute plans.
Manage all phases of project planning and execution.
Plan scope, schedule, cost, safety, and quality aspects.
Lead scope definition, estimating, scheduling, cost control, procurement, contracting.
Create, staff, and lead project teams.
Provide leadership and coordinate across organizations.
Guide matrixed team members and interface with functional leaders.
Establish stakeholder communications and lead project meetings.
Report status and necessary communications.
Execute projects within approved scope, cost, and schedule.
Manage plans covering deliverables, WBS, procurement, budgets, risks, quality, safety, and closeout.
