Job summary

Los-Rios Community College District is seeking a skilled operations coordinator to plan, schedule, and coordinate campus maintenance and related services. You will handle hazardous materials coordination, safety programs, and liaison with vendors and campus departments to ensure timely repairs and compliance.

The role supports the Director of Operations, maintains records, and prepares requisitions and time reports.

Qualifications

Three years of responsible accounting or general clerical experience, including areas of maintenance, purchasing, and personnel.
College courses from an accredited institution in business or related education may be substituted for two years of the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Have an equity-minded focus, responsiveness, and sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse backgrounds of community college students, including those with disabilities, and support an inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and perform specialized technical functions in campus-wide project/repair scheduling and coordination.
Maintain records on maintenance requests and safety information; coordinate with vendors for repairs and hazardous materials.
Assist in budget compilation, prepare requisitions, and time reports; coordinate additions/moves/changes to campus operations; communicate with departments and the District Office.
