Job summary

Los Rios Community College District is seeking a Maintenance Operations Clerk to plan, coordinate, and perform specialized technical functions across campus operations, safety programs, and emergency responses.

Under direction, you will maintain records, coordinate hazardous materials handling, assist in budget and procurement, and act as liaison among departments and vendors.

Promotional opportunities exist for current LRCCD employees; education substitution and part-time experience rules apply.

Qualifications

Three years of responsible accounting or general clerical experience.
Experience with maintenance, purchasing, and personnel.
Promotional: One year of LRCCD experience as Maintenance Operations Clerk or equivalent.
Education: One year of education is equal to 30 semester units; education must be from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

Maintains records on campus maintenance requests and coordinates the Chemical Hygiene Plan.
Coordinates removal of hazardous/biohazardous/toxic materials and coordinates repairs with vendors.
Prepares requisitions and assists in budget and payroll processes; handles time reports.
Attends meetings representing the Director of Operations and assists with safety and risk management.
