Job summary

Sysco is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee facility maintenance, grounds, security, and external vendors. You will manage safety, expenses, compliance, and lead the maintenance staff to ensure reliable operations across the site.

Responsibilities include coaching associates, reviewing work, coordinating with third parties, and safeguarding assets. Candidates need at least 3 years of maintenance experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Three years on-the-job maintenance experience with electric pallet jacks and electric forklifts.
• Understanding of general building maintenance, refrigeration, plumbing, processing equipment, welding and AIB preparation.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the daily work and safety of associates engaged in building, grounds, sanitation, refrigeration systems, beverage department, power industrial equipment and security.
• Review, coach, and develop the maintenance associates; monitor policy, safety requirements, and out-of-policy issues.
• Oversee asset selection, purchase, and inventory for facilities; coordinate with departments for upgrades and repairs.
• Develop relationships with third-party vendors and ensure insurance and hold harmless agreements are in place.
