Job summary

Sysco is seeking a seasoned Operations Manager focused on maintenance and facilities for the San Francisco region. The role directs activities across building, grounds, fleet maintenance, refrigeration, and security, while managing budgets, schedules, and vendor partnerships.

You will oversee safety programs, inspections, and the implementation of maintenance strategies to safeguard assets, people, and operations. A Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in maintenance management are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 7 years maintenance management experience required.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license and provide proof of liability coverage.
• Experience coordinating with third-party vendors and safety teams.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily work and safety of associates across maintenance, fleet, and security areas.
• Advises labor hours and consumable supplies within budget.
• Prepares work schedules including extra days and shifts as needed.
• Coordinates crisis management and safety training initiatives.
• Maintains assets inventory and ensures proper vendor relationships.
• Develops preventative maintenance schedules for all systems and equipment.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
