The position oversees capital projects, equipment lifecycle, inventory control, and performance reporting, while supporting budgeting and employee development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, Maintenance Technologies or related discipline and 6-10 years of job-related experience.
• Broad knowledge of building trades with emphasis on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, PPE, and accident prevention measures.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and customer service skills across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction of the Maintenance and Custodial Department. Set goals and performance standards.
• Plan, prioritize, and direct daily operations; allocate resources; manage staffing and scheduling.
• Oversee capital and funded projects with budgeting, safety, quality and compliance.
• Direct safety programs and ensure regulatory compliance with all policies.
• Manage subcontracted maintenance and service providers and ensure contract performance.
• Oversee inventory control and lifecycle management of tools and materials.
• Support FTD leadership with operational management and project execution.
