Job summary

UT-Battelle’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory seeks a Facility Engineer to act as the primary technical resource and Design Authority for facility infrastructure. You will manage maintenance programs, oversee design and construction aspects, and ensure configuration control for systems within the Central Complex.

The role requires a BS in engineering and at least five years in facility systems, with preference for HVAC, 480 VAC power distribution, and strong collaboration with diverse teams across

• Requires accredited BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of five years of experience in facility systems, operations, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Support design, installation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical and HVAC installations.
• Maintain and improve preventive maintenance systems and processes.
• Coordinate outside contract work for construction or repair.
• Ensure compliance with ES&H and QA requirements.
