Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Facilities Manager for our Chantilly, VA portfolio. You will manage multiple properties, coordinate third-party services, track work orders, validate invoices, and support construction projects to maintain reliable facility operations.

Typical duties include budgeting, utility monitoring, emergency preparedness and collaboration with engineering teams. A government clearance is required, and limited travel within the region is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ facilities management experience in corporate real estate.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in facilities management or property management.
• Knowledge of facilities building systems, operation/maintenance/performance.
• Experience supervising facilities technicians, professionals and vendors.
• Must have an Active Government Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple properties, coordinating 3rd party vendor services and day-to-day work order tracking.
• Validate invoices, monitor KPI standards and ensure timely delivery of services.
• Oversee purchase orders and budgets; monitor utility consumption.
• Support small to moderate construction projects and ensure emergency preparedness.
• Collaborate with Engineering Services on asset maintenance and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Prepare annual operating and capital budgets with the IFM Leader.
• Monitor operational expenses and conduct progress reviews with the IFM Leader.
• Limited travel to facilities within the region.
