Job summary

The University of Minnesota is seeking a Facilities Support Manager to oversee the service level agreement between Facilities Management and Housing and Residential Life for 12 buildings. The role manages furniture, fixtures and equipment inventories, and leads related procurement projects.

Responsibilities include SLA oversight, project management, and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure smooth operations and asset accountability.

Qualifications

• BA/BS with at least 5 years of experience or nine years combined education/experience in maintenance/custodial management.
• Able to meet physical demands; criminal background check required.
• Experience with service level agreements and vendor management in a campus environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Service Level Agreement between Facilities Management and HRL (40%).
• Lead building walkthroughs and inspections to ensure SLA standards.
• Monitor SLA performance and drive improvements; communicate with stakeholders.
• Coordinate transitions during academic breaks and between terms.
• Develop and facilitate facilities-related training for HRL staff.
• Act as liaison for furniture, fixtures and equipment procurement and asset records.
• Assist Director of Housing Facilities when needed.
