Job summary

PRS is seeking an experienced Facilities & Property Manager to oversee the operation, safety, cleanliness, and readiness of a large multi-use community campus in New York.

You will manage daily facilities and grounds, coordinate events, supervise custodial staff, monitor building systems, ensure regulatory compliance, and work with external contractors to keep spaces welcoming and functional for programs and community activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day facilities and grounds operations.
• Open, close, and secure buildings as required.
• Coordinate room setups and breakdowns for events and services.
• Monitor HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and other building systems.
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and inspection logs.
• Ensure safety, compliance with health and occupancy regulations.
• Oversee custodial staff and cleaning providers.
• Prepare facilities for services, meetings, and community gatherings.
• Track facility-related expenses and assist with budgeting.
