Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee a team responsible for operating and maintaining a portfolio of small to medium buildings. You will supervise staff, coordinate repairs, manage budgets, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across the properties.

You will partner with clients, vendors, and project teams, lead capital projects, conduct inspections, and drive operational efficiencies while exemplifying CBRE's values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Facility Management certification preferred.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
• Leadership skills to motivate team and impact quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
• Advanced math skills for financial calculations.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor training and development; conduct evaluations and coaching; oversee recruiting and hiring.
• Schedule and manage the team's daily activities; set and track deadlines; mentor and coach as needed.
• Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
• Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
• Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
• Perform facility inspections and suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrades.
• Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
• Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing; review quotes for parts, services, and labor.
• Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs, and safety.
• Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values; influence stakeholders to reach agreement.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues.
