Job summary

Hawaii Pacific Health's Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women and Children seeks a Facilities Management Manager to oversee engineering and maintenance operations. You will plan, organize and delegate work for maintenance personnel to keep patient care areas safe and efficient.

The role emphasizes evaluating the physical plant against performance standards, maintaining quality controls, and ensuring compliance with City, State, Federal codes and The Joint Commission guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Engineering or related maintenance discipline or equivalent
• Three (3) years supervisory experience in maintenance or physical plant operations
• Experience in a health care setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and delegate work assignments for maintenance personnel.
• Evaluate the physical plant for performance standards.
• Maintain quality/reliability controls and ensure compliance with applicable codes and The Joint Commission guidelines.
