Job summary

The State of Washington's Department of Social and Health Services seeks a Facility Manager to lead campus facilities operations at the Brockmann Campus in Vancouver, WA. This role will prepare a new behavioral health campus for full operations and ensure readiness during warm closure.

Reporting to the Regional Operations Administrator, you will oversee life-safety, utilities, and maintenance programs, build a capable facilities team, and coordinate with capital planning, IT, and public safety

Qualifications

• Nine+ years in facility maintenance/management with at least five in leadership roles.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams or complex facility operations.
• Education/Experience substitution allows related degrees for experience (PM, construction, eng, business, IT).

Responsibilities

• Lead campus facilities operations including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, life-safety, and utilities.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs and staffing plans.
• Prepare campus readiness and support inspections and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with capital programs, IT, campus leadership, and public-safety partners to open and operate the campus.
• Manage budgets, asset information, lifecycle planning, and data to support decisions.
• Coordinate construction and capital planning; advise leadership on infrastructure risks and needs.
