Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Facility Operations Assistant Manager in the United States. This full-time role supports the Facility Operations Manager, ensuring clean, functional facilities and exceptional member service. You will help manage club spaces, train staff, and provide managerial backup when needed.

You will work a schedule opposite the Manager, requiring flexibility, and play a key role in safety, budgeting, recruitment, and staff development within a dynamic fitness club environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/AED certification required within first 30 days of hire.
• 1 year of customer service experience required.
• Aquatic Facilities Operator Certification (AFO) required.
• Certified Pool Operator license (CPO) required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists staff in maintaining locker rooms, fitness floors, common areas, and amenities.
• Responds to member feedback with urgency and provides follow up communication with solutions.
• Assists the manager with monthly and annual budget recommendations.
• Assists in training team members through providing ongoing training, coaching, counseling, and continuous feedback.
• Serves on the club Safety Committee ensuring policies and regulations are in compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Assists with the recruiting and interviewing for the Operations department.
• Attends weekly department head, Operations department, and "all club" meetings.
• Builds positive relationship with members while gathering feedback.
• Coordinates and creates Operations staff schedules.
