Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Facility Operations Assistant Manager in New York to help run daily club operations on site. You will support the Facility Operations Manager, train staff, and assist in budgeting while ensuring top-tier member service and safety compliance.

The role requires flexibility for varied schedules and hands-on leadership in a busy fitness environment. Responsibilities include staffing schedules, safety oversight, and coordinating department meetings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Aquatic Facilities Operator Certification (AFO) required.
• Certified Pool Operator license (CPO) within 3 months of hire.
• Flexible schedule to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains locker rooms, fitness floors, common areas and amenities.
• Responds to member feedback with urgency and provides follow up with solutions.
• Assists in budgeting recommendations (monthly/annual).
• Trains staff through ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Supports OSHA-compliant club safety policies on committee.
• Assists with recruiting and interviewing for the Operations dept.
