firstPRO US is seeking an Assistant Manager, Screening and Performance Facilities to support daily operations of the Bright Family Screening Room and Paramount studios. The role focuses on scheduling, projections, and hands-on AV support for classes, rehearsals, and events.

The incumbent will maintain procedures, train student staff, and collaborate with MTE, SOF, and PA teams to ensure reliable services and clear user communication.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2–3 years of AV, screening, or performing arts experience.
  • Experience working with students, faculty, or in customer-facing roles in higher ed preferred.
  • Familiarity with digital projection, basic AV and media equipment, and scheduling systems required.
  • Experience producing technical documentation or delivering user training preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise, train, and mentor student staff required.
  • Available to work evenings and weekends based on facility usage.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site support for daily operations in BFSR and Paramount spaces, including opening/closing and room readiness.
  • Serve as the front-desk contact during class and event hours.
  • Supervise and mentor student staff; coordinate with Manager on staffing coverage.
  • Develop and maintain operating procedures, training materials, and user guides.
  • Maintain facility schedules in Webcheckout, EMS, Google Calendar, etc.
  • Coordinate with Manager to support screenings, rehearsals, and events.
  • Conduct routine checks of projection, AV, and facility systems; escalate issues as needed.
  • Provide first-line projection and basic AV support within training scope.
  • Track consumables and equipment; maintain inventories and logs.
  • Collect usage data and feedback; propose operational improvements.
  • Assist with technology assessments and lifecycle documentation.
  • Communicate facility policies and technical requirements to faculty, staff, and students.
  • Coordinate with academic stakeholders to ensure safe, compliant facility use.
  • Participate in team meetings and support other MTP areas as needed.
