Job summary

Chevron Phillips Chemical Company seeks a Facilities Operations Coordinator for its The Woodlands, TX headquarters. The role ensures smooth, safe daily operations, supports MAC processes, and oversees property management activities with a focus on budget, safety, and efficiency.

You will manage budgets, coordinate maintenance, track work orders, and lead projects within Property Management, partnering with procurement and other departments to ensure compliance and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University or High School Diploma with at least 5 years of equivalent experience in building operations or related field.
• Electrical knowledge is required.
• Fire Life Safety knowledge is required.
• Plumbing knowledge is required.
• Experience overseeing contractors.
• Knowledgeable in work permitting, JSA, Lock, Tag, Try and Confined Space.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the department’s capital and operating budget (annual budget, variance reporting, accruals, reclass, goods receipts, requisitions, PO creation).
• Coordinate and monitor day-to-day facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, service requests, and vendor scheduling.
• Track and manage work orders, preventive maintenance, and building inspections for timely completion.
• Maintain records on utilities, safety inspections, and compliance documentation.
• Manage building automation system adjustments.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency in daily operations.
• Ensure safety permits and JSA are written and followed; track documents.
• Support office moves, expansions, and equipment installations; lead construction projects in Property Management scope.
• Collaborate with other departments to address operational needs and safety/sustainability initiatives.
