Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Facilities Supervisor to oversee the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of facilities, grounds, and building systems in a manufacturing environment in the United States. Qualifications

• Seven or more years of related maintenance experience.
• Associate degree in a mechanical or electrical field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance, industrial equipment, HVAC, plumbing, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment, including CNC machinery, servo systems, and control systems.
• Knowledge of PLC programming, ladder logic, electrical theory, control circuits, wiring diagrams, AC motors, and equipment calibration.
• Experience with project management, budgeting, capital planning, vendor management, purchasing coordination, and maintenance records.
• Previous experience supervising or leading maintenance personnel.
• Working knowledge of applicable safety, environmental, permitting, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and reliable operation of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems.
• Manage facility grounds and outdoor spaces to maintain a safe, clean, and functional environment.
• Lead and develop maintenance personnel, including hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Coordinate outside contractors and vendors to ensure projects meet established timelines, quality standards, and budget requirements.
• Assist with facilities budgeting, monitor expenditures, and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and improve operational reliability.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Support facility emergency preparedness plans, including response procedures, drills, and employee training.
• Monitor key performance indicators and report on maintenance activities, facility risks, and corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles, process improvements, and new technologies.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient manufacturing environment through equipment safety, regulatory compliance, and effective housekeeping.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support facility needs and overall business objectives.
