Job summary

The State of Colorado's Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) seeks a Facilities Operations Supervisor at Centennial HQ to lead maintenance, grounds, and custodial activities within the Joint Force Headquarters Facilities Management branch.

You will supervise a small team, develop schedules, manage budgets, coordinate with technicians, and ensure compliance with building codes while supporting army national guard facilities.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position, two (2) of which must have been at the level of a unit supervisor or equivalent.
• Must be a current State of Colorado resident to apply.
• Must have and maintain a valid Colorado Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, grounds, custodial, production control, and administrative tasks for the Joint Force Headquarters Facilities Management branch.
• Supervise two maintenance personnel, two admin staff, and three custodians; ensure efficient daily operations.
• Develop maintenance procedures, schedules, and cost estimates; manage contracts and vendor payments.
• Coordinate ISR inspections and ensure work meets building codes and standards.
• Attend project and budget meetings to secure funding for FM projects.
