Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Boise VA Medical Center, is seeking a Maintenance and Operations Supervisor in Facility Management Service.

You will oversee three Maintenance Mechanic Supervisors across HVAC/R, Plumbing, Boiler/Geothermal, Electrical, Mechanical and Grounds shops in a hospital setting. Coordinate with first line supervisors, clinical staff, and patient representatives to deliver timely, compliant services.

Qualifications

• Journeyman license or equivalent required.
• Experience supervising maintenance teams in a large facility.
• Ability to coordinate with clinical staff and management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct Maintenance Mechanic Supervisors across three shop segments.
• Review PM requirements and advise on PM needs to maximize equipment life.
• Coordinate with supervisors, project managers, and designers for contracts and work orders.
• Ensure timely completion of tasks within budget and safety standards.
