Job summary

The Building People is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead facility operations and maintenance at a federal government installation in Colorado. You will oversee on-site engineering and facilities personnel to ensure reliable operations, cost control, and service excellence.

Responsibilities include managing building systems (HVAC, electrical, labs, fume hoods, clean rooms), implementing preventive maintenance programs, monitoring energy via BAS, and preparing weekly/monthly reports

Qualifications

• 5+ years of O&M management for complex facilities.
• Experience with commissioning (Cx) activities for large facilities preferred.
• Proficiency with CMMS and BAS for energy monitoring and control.
• Budget development, variance analysis and management reporting.
• Colorado/Denver presence required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site engineering and facilities personnel; manage operations, maintenance, service and repairs.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, inspections, and safety/compliance activities.
• Provide weekly and monthly reports; monitor budgets and implement cost controls.
• Develop scopes of work for RFPs and manage vendor contracts.
• Lead training and development for engineering staff; ensure OSHA compliance.
