Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Washington is seeking a Facility Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance and housekeeping operations at the Silver Spring location. You will oversee day-to-day facility operations, preventive maintenance programs, and safety initiatives to ensure a clean, safe, and member-ready environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities management, housekeeping operations, or building maintenance.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and preventive maintenance.
• Pool Operator Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically active environment.
• Must be available for emergency call-outs as needed.

About the Role
