Job summary

The YMCA is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance, improvements and cleanliness of facilities, pools and equipment. You will supervise staff, perform hands-on work and coordinate with outside contractors to ensure safe, well-maintained buildings and systems.

You will manage preventative maintenance, oversee contractors, and ensure compliance with local regulations. A customer-service mindset and ability to balance multiple projects are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of pools; training provided.
• CPR/First Aid certifications preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and supports the maintenance and custodial staff.
• Hands-on maintenance and routine repairs, cleaning and labor.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Daily contact with members, participants and staff; emphasis on customer service.
• On-call availability including weekends, nights, or early morning for repairs or issues.
