Job summary

WebstaurantStore, Lebanon, TN, is seeking a Facilities Assistant Manager to support the Facilities Manager in maintaining the distribution center's equipment, safety, and day-to-day operations.

You will oversee maintenance activities, manage budgets, coordinate with operations, and ensure CMMS is kept up to date. The role requires hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, HVAC and plumbing systems and a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to explain technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the management and training of facilities/maintenance staff across all shifts.
• Provide guidance to building management on efficiency improvements.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed; knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and Arc Flash requirements.
• Collaborate with Facilities Manager to manage budgets and schedule equipment downtime.
• Maintain CMMS for preventive maintenance checklists and corrective actions.
• Maintain spare parts inventory in CMMS and analyze costs.
• Coordinate emergency maintenance responses and conveyor/automation maintenance.
• Obtain estimates for supplies, equipment, and materials for projects.
• Supervise replacement of warehouse pallet racking and ensure proper anchoring.
• Complete weekly, quarterly, and annual tests on fire suppression and monitoring equipment.
• Organize warranty repairs; perform other duties as assigned.
