Job summary

Sylvania seeks an experienced facilities leader to direct maintenance and contracted services across the district. You will oversee HVAC, plumbing and electrical operations, ensuring safe, compliant and cost-effective facilities management.

The role requires strong supervision skills, knowledge of building automation, and ability to communicate updates to the Director. Union workforce experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7-10 years’ experience with general, plumbing, HVAC or electrical contractors, construction/project management.
• Knowledge of Building Automation Systems, operations and programming preferred.
• 5-7 years experience managing work crews on multiple shifts.

Responsibilities

• Direct, supervise, and coordinate maintenance and contracted services district-wide.
• Maintain ongoing communications with the Director and provide status updates.
• Alert the Director of any concerns or issues as they arise.
