Job summary

Sylvania in Lancaster, PA seeks an Assistant Director of Buildings & Grounds to assist the Director in managing maintenance and upkeep of all district facilities. This is a twelve-month, full-time, salaried position with regular travel within the District.

The role requires five years in building maintenance, a high school diploma, and strong knowledge of building systems, codes, HVAC, electrical work, and safety regulations. A PA driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Five years of building maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of building operating systems, regulator codes and safety regulations.
• Understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC, electrical, facility disciplines and trades.
• Ability to read and interpret operation manuals, plans, drawings and blueprints.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Buildings & Grounds in managing maintenance and upkeep of all buildings and grounds within the organization.
• Travel regularly within the District as part of duties.
