Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a Skilled Maintenance Worker (Plumber) to maintain the district school facilities. The role involves plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks, with supervision by the Director of Facilities.

The position requires plumbing and construction licenses, valid driver’s license, and ability to pass background checks. The employee will work on-site across district properties, ensuring safe, compliant operations and timely maintenance support.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Order and account for materials and labor for assigned projects.
• Maintain safety and code requirements as per state and district policies.
• Plan and supervise general maintenance work inside and outside the facility.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing fixtures and systems.
• Operate maintenance equipment and estimate materials and labor for projects.
