Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. seeks a Facilities Manager to lead soft-services and workplace operations across HQ and sites. You will supervise a team, manage vendors, and coordinate with Building Engineering on technical issues, outages, and safety.

The role involves budgeting, move planning, and event coordination to deliver a safe, clean, and productive workplace. The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in facilities management, experience with multi-vendor contracts, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 5-8 years of progressive facilities management experience, including 2+ years with 100,000+ SF.
• Experience managing multi-vendor service contracts, bids, and enforcing SLAs.
• Experience coordinating corporate events, workplace services, moves, and operations for large populations.
• Proficiency reading construction drawings and coordinating with Building Engineering.
• Excellent communication and customer-service orientation.
• Adaptability for emergencies and on-call responsibilities.
• Experience with Tool Watch or equivalent inventory platform preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR; able to lift up to 50 lbs; site walkthroughs across locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee soft services and workplace operations across multiple sites.
• Define priorities, monitor service levels, and manage resources.
• Coordinate with Building Engineering for repairs and outages.
• Provide 24/7 on-call leadership for emergencies and safety incidents.
• Manage budgets, invoices, and contracts; review performance and renewals.
• Lead events, moves, and onboarding/offboarding activities.
• Ensure safety, security, and compliance programs are administered.
