Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks an Assistant Facilities Manager to support a campus or location with day-to-day operations, safety, and tenant satisfaction. You will coordinate maintenance, vendor contracts, and reporting to keep facilities well-managed and compliant.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the Facilities Manager, handling budgets, reporting, and capital planning while ensuring high service standards for occupants and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years relevant experience in commercial/industrial real estate facility management.
• Experience in maintenance, construction, engineering, and property operations.
• CMMS/Work Order Management experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building contracts and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure day-to-day facility operations (janitorial, lif safety, engineering, site services, maintenance) align with C&W policies and contracts.
• Supervise maintenance programs for interior and exterior conditions and respond to tenant requests.
• Compile and maintain site documentation and reports (PIC, SOPs, safety logs, budgets).
• Prepare budgets, financial reports, contracts, expenditures, and purchase orders.
• Assist in capital budget development and five-year maintenance plans.
• Collect and analyze facility data to inform management decisions.
• Monitor compliance with insurance requirements and coordinate claims.
• Proactively inspect facilities and report findings to the Facility Manager.
