Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to support day-to-day operations at a multi-building campus. You will assist in implementing policies, coordinating services, and ensuring a well-managed environment aligned with client goals.

The role emphasizes safety, tenant needs, and continuous improvement, with responsibilities across maintenance, budgeting, reporting, and vendor management in a professional office setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in facilities management or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in commercial/industrial real estate facility management.
• CMMS/Work Order Management experience preferred.
• CFM/IFMA/BOMA certifications recommended; other engineering or technical trainings a plus.
• Ability to read construction specifications and blueprints; strong contract literacy.
• Proficient in building management systems, MS Office, and financial management; knowledge of Yardi a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations including janitorial, life-safety, engineering, and site services.
• Supervise maintenance programs for interior and exterior conditions.
• Respond promptly to building maintenance requests and manage contract programs.
• Compile site documentation: PM manuals, logs, invoices, contracts, and reports.
• Prepare budgets and financial reports; oversee purchase orders and expenditures.
• Assist in capital budgeting and five-year maintenance plans.
• Analyze data to assess facility management objectives.
• Ensure compliance with insurance requirements and manage claims.
• Proactively inspect facilities and report issues to the Facility Manager.
