Qualifications

• 2–3 years of apartment maintenance experience or equivalent.
• High school diploma or GED; college/technical degree preferred.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant certifications and a Certified Pool/Spa Operator certificate as required by jurisdiction.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair routine maintenance requests and on-site systems according to safety standards and codes.
• Oversee make-ready processes for vacant units, schedule vendors, complete inspections, and ensure timely turnover.
• Set cleanliness/appearance standards for all common areas, exteriors, and amenity spaces; enforce high-quality standards.
• Regularly inspect work by staff and contractors; ensure quality, safety, and budget adherence.
• Assist in budgeting for repairs and capital projects; optimize costs and resource use.
