Job summary

StoryPoint is seeking a Maintenance and Housekeeping Manager to oversee day-to-day maintenance and housekeeping teams for commercial, senior living, and multi-family properties. The role requires strong leadership, scheduling, budgeting, and adherence to safety standards.

You will organize workloads, supervise staff, and coordinate with other departments to deliver high quality facilities management while maintaining records and ensuring compliance with codes and client directions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluates staff and makes hiring or termination recommendations; motivates staff.
• Maintains facilities per local/state building codes.
• Manages budgets, work plans, and performance requirements for maintenance teams.
• Provides technical knowledge on maintenance projects and assists when needed.
• Prepares service estimates and maintains project budgets.
• Implements policies with leadership to reach departmental goals.
• Negotiates subcontractor contracts and inspects work for safety adherence.
• Ensures preventive maintenance is scheduled and records kept.
