Job summary

The CHM West Michigan Operations Coordinator at Michigan State University College of Engineering oversees building facilities, performs preventative maintenance, and coordinates safety monitoring. Qualifications

• Frequent lifting of less than 25 pounds and occasional lifting over 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assists with daily operations of the Grand Rapids Research Center, Secchia Center, and Doug Meijer Medical Innovation Building; perform maintenance and repairs on building systems and equipment.
• Supports event setup, lab moves, and manages work requests; uses work order software and maintains inventory.
• Performs health and safety checks and inspections to comply with university and state regulations.
