Job summary

MSU - Michigan State University is seeking an Operations Coordinator for the CHM West Michigan team to support oversight, maintenance, and repair of campus facilities and equipment at the GRRC, Doug Meijer Medical Innovation Building, and the Secchia Center.

This role coordinates safety monitoring with Environmental Health and Safety, manages work orders and inventory, assists with policy implementation, and helps with event setups, lab moves, and cross-training as workload dictates.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of related and progressively responsible work experience in building operations or maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations of the CHM West Michigan campuses to support research and academic/business outcomes.
• Perform maintenance and repairs of building systems, equipment, and structures.
• Assist in loading/unloading tools and materials; maintain inventory and work orders.

Education

Associate’s degree or two to three years of college coursework in a business-related field or related area
