Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is seeking a detail-oriented professional to coordinate a department program with institutional oversight responsibilities. You will supervise program staff, manage communications, and ensure smooth operation within the Facilities Operations Division.

Under general supervision, you will work cross-functionally with administrative support personnel, develop processes for regulatory compliance, and help maintain records related to JACHO and other

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus two (2) years related experience; OR a combination of education and/or related experience to equal six (6) years.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to Facilities Operations administrative team members and acts as a resource to assist in various administrative and clerical matters.
• Identifies issues or problems associated with administrative matters within the office and researches solutions within a specific area.
• Prepares documents, records, incoming and outgoing communications and maintains records for the Facilities Operations Division.
• Works cross-functionally with administrative support personnel as well as provides backup support to other departmental administrative support personnel.
• Helps the supervisor to develop and modify processes for completion and documentation of regulatory compliance items.
• Maintains and tracks progress for compliance with JACHO, TDLR, and others.
• Assists in scheduling training for junior personnel.
