Job summary

MillerKnoll is seeking a Facilities Coordinator in Stamford to oversee daily maintenance and repair requests across retail, corporate offices, campuses, and distribution centers in North America. You will manage a broad range of trades, coordinate with vendors, and ensure preventative maintenance is performed efficiently.

The role requires 3-5 years in facilities or project management, basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and safety systems, and comfort with work order systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent trade experience.
• 3-5 years’ experience in Facilities and/or project management.
• Trade experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience using ServiceChannel or a similar work order management system is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Process day-to-day service work orders for repair trades across all MillerKnoll locations in North America.
• Serve as first point of contact for emergent facilities issues, with after-hours and weekend support as needed.
• Utilize work order management system to dispatch and monitor repair/maintenance tasks.
• Monitor vendor performance and completion of PM services (HVAC, lighting, etc.).
• Communicate with service providers to ensure timely renewal of permits and compliance.
