Job summary

Helping Hand is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to keep our buildings safe, clean, and functional in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. This on-site role supports operations and maintenance across all agency spaces.

You will coordinate repairs, manage preventative maintenance, vendor relationships, and facility improvements while contributing to a positive, inclusive workplace with competitive compensation and solid benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of related maintenance or facilities management experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appearance, safety, cleanliness, and functionality of agency buildings.
• Coordinate daily maintenance requests, repairs, waste disposal, renovations, and facility needs.
• Assist with moving facility items and ordering equipment, supplies, and housekeeping products.
• Work with team to address maintenance needs and improve operations.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules and track work orders.
• Manage inventory of major appliances and facility supplies.
• Serve as primary contact for vendors and contractors; attend meetings and monitor open work orders.
• Support major facility projects and coordination with other teams.
• Participate in safety planning and compliance activities.
• Attend required meetings and trainings; on-call evenings/weekends as needed.
