Job summary

in Collaborative is seeking an experienced Facilities Technician/Coordinator to oversee operations and maintenance across our facilities. You will manage routine, preventive, and corrective work, ensuring HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems run efficiently.

You will coordinate subcontractors, manage work orders, track timelines and budgets, and drive safety and compliance initiatives in partnership with leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree or technical certification in Facilities Management, Building Maintenance, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of building systems: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical equipment.
• Strong organizational and scheduling skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
• Adaptable in dynamic operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure facility systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, equipment) operate efficiently.
• Conduct facility inspections to identify maintenance needs and improvements.
• Manage maintenance schedules and service records.
• Coordinate vendor services and monitor contract performance.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient facility services.
• Manage facility work orders from initiation to completion.
• Prioritize maintenance requests based on urgency, impact, safety.
• Coordinate facility improvement projects, renovations, and space planning.
• Track project timelines, budgets, and resource use.
• Provide project status updates to Corporate Solutions leadership.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, and company policies.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and corrective actions.
• Maintain records of inspections, permits, certifications, and compliance documentation.
• Support emergency preparedness and response initiatives.
• Identify and implement process improvements with leadership.
• Promote best practices and continuous improvement.
