Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Technician in Dallas, TX to perform maintenance and repairs on facility systems across multiple buildings. You will handle preventive maintenance, assist with installations, and ensure compliance with NFPA 80 fire door standards, while communicating effectively with clients and team members.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1–2 years of related experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on the facilities fire doors and other fire life safety systems to ensure optimal functionality and compliance.
• Specialize in the inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of facility fire and life safety doors in accordance with NFPA 80 standards.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Manage and track completion.
• Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.
• Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information with clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
