Job summary

Quantinuum in Broomfield, CO is seeking a Facilities Mechanical Engineer Intern to assist with operation, startup, and validation of HVAC and related systems. You will help maintain a cleanroom environment and support facility planning and capital projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's in Engineering and able to intern before degree completion.
• Graduating in 2027 or later.
• U.S. Person due to contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operation, startup, and validation of HVAC, air systems, and related mechanical systems.
• Create and update O&M documentation and support special projects within the mechanical engineering scope.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant cleanroom environment and follow ISO standards.
• Support facility planning, space utilization, infrastructure upgrades, and capital project development.
• Complete a capstone project and present recommendations to site leadership at internship end.
