LEGENDS GLOBAL is seeking a Facilities Manager for the Los Angeles Convention Center. This on-site role leads the setup department, plans event room configurations, and ensures safety and staffing continuity across shifts.

You will direct Supervisors and staff, oversee scheduling, and coordinate equipment readiness and vendor interfaces for successful events. This position reports to Operations leadership and requires strong leadership and planning skills.

Competenze

• Minimum five years of experience in convention center operations, event setup, or facility management.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience and ability to lead supervisors, leads, and staff.
• Must be able to interpret floorplans, event instructions, and related diagrams; plan setups and strikes.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel and ability to use Momentus and a CMMS.
• Must maintain equipment and storage records, organize training, prepare production reports.
• Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must have the ability to work late hours, early mornings, weekends and holidays.

• Plan and execute event setups, room changes, and strikes across shifts.
• Lead Facilities Supervisors and staff; coach planning and communication.
• Prepare weekly staff plans and scheduling; manage labor utilization.
• Recruit, train, and cross-train staff; ensure equipment readiness.
• Communicate safety plans; review daily safety meetings and reports.
• Coordinate equipment storage, maintenance, and inventory; ensure access control.
• Coordinate construction-related changes and department planning.
