Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a part-time Operations Utility Worker for the Los Angeles Convention Center. The role supports the Operations team with basic repairs and maintenance tasks to keep venues in top condition for events.

The position is non-exempt, onsite in downtown LA, with a base hourly salary of $28.94 under the union scale and reporting to the Assistant Superintendent. Physical demands include lifting and moving up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• General maintenance and basic repair skills.
• Ability to follow posted instructions and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform surface prep for paint and minor repairs (restroom fixtures, ceiling tiles, door handles).
• Assist with general maintenance tasks and stocking, move equipment and furniture as needed.
• Maintain back-of-house areas, garages and workstations in clean, safe condition.
