Job summary

JLL in Spencerville, OH is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee operations, maintenance, and optimization of critical building systems, ensuring safety, efficiency and sustainability. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage vendors, and serve as the primary client contact to deliver integrated facilities solutions.

You will drive budgets, audits, and continuous improvement, while ensuring regulatory compliance and high service standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in facilities management, building operations, or property management.
• Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and building automation systems.
• Proven track record of managing operational budgets and controlling costs while maintaining service excellence.
• Demonstrated leadership ability with experience managing teams and coordinating multiple service providers.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills with ability to build strong relationships and manage expectations.
• Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facilities operations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety systems, and building automation, ensuring compliance and performance.
• Develop and manage operational budgets, track expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead and coordinate facilities teams and service providers to deliver exceptional results.
• Conduct regular building inspections and preventive maintenance planning.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure third-party providers meet performance and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand needs and deliver tailored facilities solutions.
• Drive sustainability initiatives and monitor energy efficiency metrics.
