Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking a Facilities Manager on‑site to lead daily operations for a large Class A office campus. You will manage vendors, oversee budgets, and drive continuous improvement to ensure safety, reliability, and occupant satisfaction.

Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance, managing capital projects, and fostering strong client relationships while upholding CBRE’s standards and values in a dynamic workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience managing commercial facilities operations and vendor performance.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 3–5 years in facilities management; valid driver’s license; FM cert preferred.
• Experience developing operating and capital budgets with financial controls.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Working knowledge of MEP systems and building infrastructure.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and related business apps.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and independent yet collaborative.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee facility maintenance, repairs, and improvements by vendors to ensure quality and timely completion.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and lead discussions to resolve issues.
• Plan, execute, and manage capital and operating projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop and monitor operating and capital budgets with financial oversight.
• Conduct routine facility inspections for compliance and efficiency.
• Oversee EH&S programs to promote a safe workplace.
• Manage vendor contracts and invoicing processes including approvals.
• Deliver training on facility operations and safety protocols.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE’s RISE values.
• Leverage FM expertise to support departmental objectives and drive operational excellence.
• Identify and resolve day‑to‑day and moderately complex operational challenges.
