Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Facilities Manager to lead maintenance across multiple locations in the Mission Viejo area. You will mentor technicians, coordinate with site leads, and drive safe, reliable facility operations.

The role requires at least 5 years of FM experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and proven CMMS/MEP knowledge. You’ll optimize PM schedules, manage vendors, and support store performance with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Facilities Manager or equivalent.
• Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education preferred.
• Experience with building/mechanical/electrical systems (MEP).
• Experience using CMMS systems and reporting including planning, scheduling, and workstream analysis.
• Strong relationship-building with customers, peers, and senior leadership.
• Experience managing remote teams and third-party contracted services.
• Six Sigma, Lean, or other operational excellence methods a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish safety-first culture across portfolio and drive safe work practices.
• Lead maintenance and repair across locations with technicians, vendors, and suppliers.
• Coordinate with site leads and landlords to meet business needs.
• Develop SOPs and PM schedules to support all areas.
• Respond to emergencies and optimize building operations.
